David Losier has been General Manager of Acadia Financial Services Inc., a Member of the MFDA, since 2001 and since 2009 has served as Vice-President and CFO of the Fédération des caisse populaire acadiennes ltée, where he also held the positions of Director of Treasury & Accounting (1998-2001) and Vice-President of Business Development (2004-2009). Prior to these positions, Mr. Losier held a number of roles with federal and provincial agencies, including Internal Auditor, Department of Health and Community Services and Auditor, Revenue Canada.
Mr. Losier is a past member of the Board of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance and is a current member of their Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Assuris Industry Advisory Committee. He is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Certified General Accountants Association of New Brunswick. Mr. Losier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and is a Certified General Accountant.
