Order

WHEREAS on February 13, 2018, the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) issued a Notice of Hearing pursuant to sections 20 and 24 of By-law No. 1 in respect of a disciplinary proceeding commenced against Rholyn St. George Hylton (“Respondent”);

AND WHEREAS the Respondent was served with the Notice of Hearing by way of personal service on March 24, 2018;

AND WHEREAS the Respondent did not file a Reply to the Notice of Hearing;

AND WHEREAS on April 17, 2018, the first appearance in this proceeding was held before one public representative of a Regional Council acting as Chair on behalf of a hearing panel of the Central Regional Council of the MFDA (“Hearing Panel”), pursuant to s. 19.13 of  MFDA  By-Law  No. 1;

AND WHEREAS the Respondent did not attend at the first appearance;

AND WHEREAS during the first appearance Staff made submissions to the Chair of the Hearing Panel with respect to scheduling and other procedural matters;

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

1. the hearing of this matter on its merits shall take place on September 11, 2018 at 10:00 am (Eastern) in the hearing room at the MFDA offices, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario.
