Order

WHEREAS on February 15, 2019, the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (the “MFDA”) issued a Notice of Hearing pursuant to sections 20 and 24 of By-law No. 1 (the “Notice of Hearing”) in respect of a disciplinary proceeding commenced against Christopher Martin Alfred Lee (the “Respondent”) which shall take place before a hearing panel of the Central Regional Council (the “Hearing Panel”);

AND WHEREAS an affidavit of service sworn by Dylan Scott on March 9, 2019 and filed by Staff of the MFDA (“Staff”) states that on February 26, 2019, he personally served the Respondent with a true copy of the Notice of Hearing;

AND WHEREAS in accordance with s. 19.13 of MFDA By-Law No. 1, the first appearance in this hearing was held by teleconference before a public representative of the Central Regional Council of the MFDA on April 9, 2019;

AND WHEREAS counsel for Staff and the Respondent attended the first appearance by teleconference on April 9, 2019 to address scheduling and other procedural matters and jointly proposed the following schedule for the continuation of the proceeding;

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

1. Subject to any further Order of the Hearing Panel, the hearing on the merits in this matter is scheduled to proceed on June 6, 2019, commencing at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the MFDA offices, 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario.
