It can sometimes be confusing to know where suspected fraud should be reported given the multiple jurisdictions of various agencies and organizations. The most important step is for a victim to report instances of potential fraud to any of the above organizations. MFDA and IIROC have consolidated
As of January 1, 2023 the MFDA and IIROC have come together as New Self-Regulatory Organization of Canada (New SRO).
New SRO has assumed the regulatory responsibilities of the MFDA and IIROC.
