MFDA Hearing Panel adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Brian Sukhdeo
June 27, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Brian Leonard Sukhdeo (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated December 20, 2016 (“Notice of Hearing”).
Prior to the Hearing on the Merits, scheduled for June 28 and 29, 2017, the Respondent made an adjournment request to the Hearing Panel. The Hearing Panel granted the adjournment and the hearing will now take place on September 18 and 19, 2017, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern) each day, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
