MFDA Panel adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Investia Financial Services Inc.

September 28, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Investia Financial Services Inc. (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated December 16, 2016 (“Notice of Hearing”).

An appearance in this proceeding took place today by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council.

The hearing of this matter on its merits has been adjourned by the Hearing Panel to take place on October 17, 2017, commencing at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be held, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
