
MFDA Panel adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Bernd Niermann
August 29, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Bernd Franz Adolf Niermann (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated December 7, 2016 (“Notice of Hearing”).
Prior to the Hearing on the Merits, scheduled for August 31, 2017, the parties made an adjournment request to the Hearing Panel. The Hearing Panel granted the adjournment and the hearing will now take place on December 11, 2017, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
