MFDA adjourns settlement hearing in the matter of Rhys Martell

March 14, 2018 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Rhys Martell (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated August 24, 2017.

A settlement hearing in this proceeding commenced March 13, 2018 before a three-member Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Pacific Regional Council. Following submissions from the parties, the Hearing Panel adjourned the settlement hearing and directed that the next appearance take place by teleconference on March 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific), or as soon thereafter as the appearance can be held.
