MFDA Hearing Panel adjourns hearing in the matter of Valorie McManes
May 29, 2018 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Valorie Jean McManes (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated September 7, 2017.
Prior to the hearing of this matter on its merits, scheduled for May 30-31, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta, the parties made an adjournment request to the Hearing Panel. The Hearing Panel granted the adjournment and directed that the hearing take place on July 10-11, 2018, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain) each day, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 800 – 6th Avenue S.W., Suite 850, Calgary, Alberta. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
