MFDA Hearing Panel adjourns hearing in the matter of Everest D’Souza

August 30, 2022 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Everest Nicholas Louis D’Souza (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated December 16, 2021 (“Notice of Hearing”).

An appearance in this proceeding was held today by videoconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council.

Prior to the commencement of the hearing on August 30, 2022, the Respondent made an adjournment request to the Hearing Panel. Following submissions by the parties, the Panel granted the adjournment and directed that the hearing be held electronically by videoconference on September 28, 2022, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be held. The proceeding will continue to be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
