New SRO adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Brent Polischuk

April 19, 2023 The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”), now New Self-Regulatory Organization of Canada (“New SRO”), commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Brent Michael Polischuk (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated April 7, 2022 (“Notice of Hearing”).

An appearance in this proceeding was held on April 6, 2023 by videoconference before a Hearing Panel of the New SRO’s Pacific District Hearing Committee.

Prior to the commencement of the hearing on April 6, 2023, the parties made an adjournment request to the Hearing Panel Following submissions by the parties, the Panel granted the adjournment and directed that the hearing be held electronically by videoconference on May 18, 2023, commencing at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be held. The proceeding will continue to be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
