
MFDA amends interim appearance start time in the matter of Laura Kowall
June 22, 2022 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Laura Caitlin Kowall (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated October 6, 2021 (“Notice of Hearing”).
The next appearance in this proceeding will take place by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Prairie Regional Council on June 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. (Central), having originally been scheduled at 2:00 p.m. (Central) the same day. The appearance will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
