December 7, 2022 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Sungsoo (Steve) Lee (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated December 22, 2021 (“Notice of Hearing”).
The interim appearance in this proceeding scheduled for December 12, 2022 has been cancelled.
As previously announced, the hearing of this matter on its merits will take place electronically by videoconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Pacific Regional Council on January 17-19, 2023, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific) each day, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
