New SRO confirms hearing dates in the matter of Ann Reid

March 23, 2023 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”), now New Self-Regulatory Organization of Canada (“New SRO”), commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Ann Marie Reid (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated August 22, 2022 (“Notice of Hearing”).

An appearance in this proceeding was held on March 14, 2023 by videoconference before a Hearing Panel of the New SRO’s Ontario District Hearing Committee.

Following submissions by Staff of the New SRO regarding procedural matters, the hearing of this matter on its merits will take place electronically by videoconference on April 26-28, 2023, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), each day. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
