MFDA sets date for Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Arash Armani

March 15, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Arash Gabriel Armani (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated January 2, 2017 (the “Notice of Hearing”).

As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this proceeding was held today by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council.

The hearing of this matter on its merits is set to take place on July 26, 2017, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the hearing can be held, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
