
MFDA sets date for Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Neil Kumar
August 14, 2018 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Neil Kumar (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated May 23, 2018.
As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this proceeding took place today by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council.
Following submissions by Staff of the MFDA, the hearing of this matter on its merits has been set for February 7, 2019, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
