MFDA sets dates for Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Donald McIntyre
March 9, 2018 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Donald John McIntyre (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing (the “Notice of Hearing”) dated November 16, 2017.
An appearance in this proceeding took place yesterday by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Prairie Regional Council.
Following submissions by the parties, the hearing of this matter on its merits has been set to take place September 24-28, 2018, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Central) each day, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at a venue to be determined and announced accordingly. The Hearing Panel also set June 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (Central) as an interim appearance to consider any procedural or scheduling issues. All appearances before the Hearing Panel shall be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
