MFDA sets dates for Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Kenneth John Fialho
September 13, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Kenneth John Fialho (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated July 11, 2017 (“Notice of Hearing”).
As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this proceeding took place yesterday by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council.
Following submissions by the parties, the Hearing Panel directed that the next appearance in this proceeding take place by teleconference on March 1, 2018. The hearing of this matter on its merits has been set for April 2-4, 2018. These appearances will commence at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as required, in the hearing room at the MFDA offices, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario, and will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
