
MFDA schedules dates for Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Andrew Kazina
August 11, 2020 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Andrew Kazina (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated June 4, 2020.
As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this proceeding was held on August 11, 2020 by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Prairie Regional Council.
Following submissions by the parties, the Hearing on the Merits will take place by electronic hearing before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Prairie Regional Council on January 13 and 14, 2021, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Central) each day, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
