MFDA schedules next appearance in the matter of Royston Thompson
April 2, 2018 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Royston Nigel Kenyetta Thompson (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated January 24, 2018.
As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this proceeding was held March 29, 2018 by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council.
Following submissions from the parties, the next appearance in this matter has been scheduled to take place by teleconference before the Hearing Panel on April 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the appearance can be held, and will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
