Nova Scotia Securities Commission schedules dates for Hearing and Review in the matter of Gregory Burke

July 29, 2019 (Toronto, Ontario) – A Hearing Panel of the Atlantic Regional Council of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) issued its Decision and Reasons (Penalty) on December 19, 2017, in connection with a disciplinary hearing held on August 10, 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia in respect of Gregory Burke. A copy of the Decision and Reasons is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca.

On May 17, 2018, Mr. Burke applied to the Nova Scotia Securities Commission (“NSSC”) for a Hearing and Review of the MFDA Hearing Panel’s decision, pursuant to subsections 30(5) and 5(A) of the Nova Scotia Securities Act.

On July 19, 2019, the NSSC announced that the Hearing and Review will proceed on December 9 and 10, 2019. A copy of the Amended Notice of Hearing is available on the NSSC website here.
