MFDA schedules date for penalty hearing in the matter of Sylvia Su Fan Wong

March 15, 2021 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Sylvia Suk Fan Wong (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated July 4, 2019.

An appearance in this matter was held today by videoconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Pacific Regional Council.

Following submissions by the parties, the penalty hearing in this proceeding will take place by electronic hearing on April 7, 2021, commencing at 9:30 a.m. (Pacific), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, and will continue to be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
