MFDA Hearing Panel issues Reasons for Decision in the matter of Jack L. Comeau

October 31, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – A Hearing Panel of the Prairie Regional Council of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) has issued its Reasons for Decision (“Reasons for Decision”) in connection with a settlement hearing held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on June 21, 2017 in the matter of Jack L. Comeau (“Respondent”).

In its Reasons for Decision dated October 31, 2017, the Hearing Panel confirmed the sanctions imposed on the Respondent. In particular, the Respondent is permanently prohibited from conducting securities related business in any capacity over which the MFDA has jurisdiction, pursuant to s. 24.1.1(e) of MFDA By-law No. 1.
