MFDA Hearing Panel adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of John Wolfenden

April 25, 2016 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of John Richard Wolfenden (the “Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing (the “Notice of Hearing”) dated June 18, 2015.

The hearing of this matter on its merits, originally scheduled to proceed on May 3-4, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario, has been adjourned to an appearance by teleconference before the Hearing Panel on April 28, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the appearance can be held. The appearance will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.

A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca. During the period described in the Notice of Hearing, the Respondent conducted business in the Sarnia, Ontario area.
