MFDA reschedules Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Byron Daues
November 6, 2017 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Byron Heinz Daues (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated March 24, 2017 (“Notice of Hearing”).
The hearing of this matter on its merits, originally scheduled to take place November 14, 2017, will now proceed before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Central Regional Council on November 28, 2017, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
