MFDA reschedules Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Sylvia Wong

March 23, 2020 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Sylvia Suk Fan Wong (“Respondent”) by Notice of Hearing dated July 4, 2019.

The hearing of this matter on its merits, originally scheduled to proceed April 14-17, 2020, has been converted into an appearance by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Pacific Regional Council on March 31, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. (Pacific). The appearance will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters. Members of the public who would like to listen to the teleconference should contact hearings@mfda.ca to obtain particulars.

A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca. During the period described in the Notice of Hearing, the Respondent carried on business in the Vancouver, British Columbia area.
