PARTICULARS
- The proposed settlement agreement concerns allegations that:
- on November 6, 2015, the Respondent falsified the signature of one client on one account form, contrary to MFDA Rule 2.1.1; and
- between January 2016 and April 2016, the Respondent misled MFDA Staff during the course of an investigation into his conduct when he falsely advised MFDA Staff that he did not falsify the signature of a client on an account form, contrary to MFDA Rule 2.1.1.
- MFDA settlement hearings are typically held in the absence of the public pursuant to section 20.5 of MFDA By-law No. 1 and Rule 15.2(2) of the MFDA Rules of Procedure.
