G20 Summit in Toronto
The purpose of this Bulletin is to advise Members of preparations being made by the MFDA in
anticipation of the G20 Summit in Toronto.
MFDA operations will continue in the normal course. On June 24th and 25th, 2010, MFDA staff
in Toronto will work off-site. While MFDA staff will be checking and responding to voicemail,
it is recommended that Members communicate with staff via e-mail during this period for greater
efficiency. All MFDA services and systems such as EFS, METS and the Members’ Only Site
will continue to be fully operational and accessible to Members during this two-day period. The
MFDA will continue to monitor developments associated with the Summit and, if circumstances
dictate, MFDA staff in Toronto may work off-site June 23rd and 28th.
MFDA Members should also consider how disruptions arising from the G20 Summit may impact
their operations and ensure that appropriate business continuity arrangements are in place.
